Bridgeport Art Center (BAC) proudly announces finalists to our 13th Annual Bridgeport Art Competition and Exhibition, chosen by this year’s distinguished jurors Rose Blouin and Sarah Spencer. Selected from 561 completed applications, the jurors have curated a captivating showcase of 103 regional talented artists working across painting, drawing, photography, assemblage, sculpture, printmaking, fiber, digital & mixed media. The 13th Annual Art Competition exhibit demonstrates the exciting diversity and inclusiveness of contemporary art and artists.
Winners of the competition announced at the opening reception during BAC’s monthly third Friday Open Studios on Friday May 16th, 2025. Visitors to the opening will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece in the exhibition for the People’s Choice Award.
PRIZES: Best of Show – $3,000; 2nd Prize – $1,500; 3rd Prize – $750; People’s Choice – $500
ELIGIBILITY: The Bridgeport Art Competition is open to artists 18 years of age and older, at all stages in their careers, and who are living or working within 150 miles of the City of Chicago. Work must have been completed within 2021-2024.
