ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

Bridgeport Art Center is seeking energetic, organized, detailed oriented and a team player individual to assist in the operations of our busy storage and records storage facility.

Candidate should possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great customer service
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and helpful disposition, composure and focus in a busy office.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS office, and (Strong Excel skills, O’Neal Software, Sitelink and Yardi, a plus)
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Must be available to work 1-2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for records storage side of business which is approximately half of all tasks.
  • Rent collection and processing payments for records storage clients
  • Invoicing and uploading tenant charges for records storage clients
  • Setting up new accounts in Yardi & O’Neil Software and maintaining client information
  • Working closely with the warehouse supervisor to ensure proper and efficient access, movement, updating, storage, retention and disposal of files and other organizational records

Other building and office tasks:

  • Customer service and administrative tasks, which include but are not limited to answering calls; taking U-Haul reservations, inspection, and rental; rental and showing of storage lockers; mail sorting; filing; creating maintenance work orders; creating key fobs and adding tenants to intercom system and assisting building manager with other building tasks.
