Where Visual Art Meets the Written Word
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creative connection and emotional storytelling at Art Speaks: Abstract Expressions. Held at the stunning Bridgeport Art Center, this one-night-only event brings together seven gifted writers, seven compelling artworks, and seven visionary artists for a powerful live performance series.
What to Expect:
This unique experience pairs professional writers with abstract artworks by local Chicago artists, creating an inspiring dialogue between two mediums. Writers will present original pieces inspired by the art, sometimes poetic, sometimes personal, always powerful. Afterwards, hear directly from the artists as they respond and share insight into their creative process.
Over 100 original works will be on display throughout the gallery. Most are available for purchase, and many artists will also offer prints to order.
