A collection of works from participating artists in Lisa Pressman and Jeff Hirst in a Master Class at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago

The exhibition, Working in the Studio: A Collective Voice brings together artists from around the US to meet in Chicago and show their work at the Bridgeport Art Center. Artists showing their work are participating in the master workshop, Working in the Studio taught by Jeff Hirst and Lisa Pressman at Hirst’s Bridgeport Art Center studio. Lisa Pressman is a visual artist from New Jersey and Hirst and Pressman also will have work in the exhibition. The class includes virtual artists who will be taking the workshop along with the artists taking the in-person course in Chicago. The exhibition includes work the artists have created prior to the workshop along with some pieces that have been created during the workshop. Work in the exhibition includes painting, mixed media, drawings, printmaking, and book arts. The unifying theme behind the exhibition is to transform your current work with experimental drawing practices working as a catalyst for change and growth.
